As a photographer, I want to put images on a wall. I want to put YOU on the wall. My background in journalism and documentary photography feeds well into my wedding and commercial endeavors. I want to know who people are, how they operate, and what forces create their framework. I want to know their story. I shoot so I can begin to understand. At the end of the day, it is all storytelling, whether in a studio, on the streets of Cairo, or photographing a bride's first step down the aisle.

Besides photography, I love the outdoors, fishing, ultimate frisbee, and my hound dog, Ruby (aka Ruberalla, aka Rubatron).
